Everything within Earshot is based on my personal opinion and worldview. I am employed by the BBC and you can expect my views to coincide with those of my employer often. I endeavour to comply with the BBC’s guidelines for employee’s weblogs and never accept payment for blogging.

I sometimes speak at conferences connected to my work. I do not accept fees for speaking but conference organisers and their partners may arrange travel and accommodation. I will receive normal hospitality in the line of business.

Sometimes I conduct copywriting, consultancy and training work for organisations who are not in competition with the BBC. If any of this becomes relevant to content within Earshot I will specifically say so.

I am a director of TVI Ltd, a company registered in Guernsey whose prinicpal business is producing and marketing baby sleep products. This site is kindly hosted on the TVI domain. I am a director of 49 Clanricarde Gardens Ltd, a company registered in the UK which manages the freehold of some flats in London.

I received the gift of a Highway digital radio from Pure Digital in 2008. I was a guest of the DRM Consortium at NAB Las Vegas in April 2009.
